Enhancing Educational and Environmental Awareness Outcomes Through Photovoice

In the United States, there are substantial barriers to youth nature access and environmental education (EE). These may lead racial, geographic, socioeconomic disparities in both contact awareness. This study investigated impacts of a Photovoice EE intervention on perceptions, STEM-capacity, awareness 335 low-income, urban (ages 9–15). Youth were assigned one two groups, group or an without activity, control group.
